    Marjoke Henrichs is an artist, theatre designer and children's book illustrator. She studied an MA in Children's Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art, graduating with distinction in 2019. 'NO! Said Rabbit" is her debut picture book published by Scallywag Press and is translated in 11 languages. It has been shortlisted for the Booktrust Storytime prize in the UK. She has designed for many Theatre companies in the UK and abroad. Early in her design career she was awarded an Arts Council Bursary which resulted in a season at the Royal Lyceum in Edinburgh. In 1993 she was part of the British entry at the Prague Quadrennial, which won the Gold Medal. Recently she designed the set for Northern Ballet's Little Red Riding Hood. She is represented by Assis Carreiro. Her mixed media semi abstract landscape paintings are regularly exhibited and she currently is part of the Butley Mills Studio artists group. She was born in The Netherlands, and moved to the UK when a student.
