Venezuela Aid Live was a concert to benefitVenezuela in Cúcuta, Colombia, a city near the Venezuelan border, on 22 February 2019. The all-day concert, called Música por Venezuela: Ayuda y Libertad (transl. Music for Venezuela: Aid and Freedom),[2] was organized by Richard Branson and Bruno Ocampo, and featured over thirty of the best known Latin American artists[3] from nine countries. Venezuela Live Aid's charity page said, "Not that long ago, [Venezuela] was the wealthiest country in South America. Now it is facing the worst humanitarian crisis in the Western Hemisphere."[5] The purpose of the concert was to raise money and to pressure Nicolás Maduro[3] to "open Venezuela's border so humanitarian aid stockpiled on Venezuela's borders can finally reach those millions who need it the most".[6] Donations of US$2.5 million were raised online in the first four days after the concert.[7]

Festival Internacional de la Orquídea
El Festival Internacional de la Orquídea es un certamenmusical internacional realizado anualmente de manera ininterrumpida en Venezuela desde el año 1982 hasta el año 2012, regresando a su emisión en el 2023 tras 10 años de incógnita y suspensiones consecutivas. Es producido y transmitido en vivo por la cadena televisiva Venevisión. Se realiza el primer o segundo sábado del mes de noviembre en la Plaza de Todos Monumental de Maracaibo de con más de 35.000 espectadores, como parte del programa de televisión, Súper Sábado Sensacional, dentro del repertorio de la Feria de La Chinita en el estado Zulia.

[editar]La primera edición se realizó el 6 de noviembre de 1982, siendo Guillermo Dávila el primer artista en recibir este premio. Este festival se ha convertido en el festival musical más importante de Venezuela y uno de los más reconocidos en Latinoamérica. Su primer animador fue Amador Bendayan, seguido de Gilberto Correa, posteriormente Daniel Sarcos y, por último, Leonardo Villalobos. Luego de la suspensión consecutiva de 10 años, en su regreso en el año 2023, el festival pasó a ser animado por Henrys Silva, Nieves Soteldo y Daniel Sarcos como embajador oficial del mismo.
